Please continue to read below to find out more information on both treatments offered and the differences between each. Gabriella offers free consultations to determine the best treatment for you.
LASER TATTOO REMOVAL

WHAT IS LASER TATTOO REMOVAL?
Laser tattoo removal works by using specific wavelengths of light to target the ink particles in the skin. The energy from the laser breaks down the tattoo ink into tiny fragments, which are eventually safely passed out of the body by the lymphatic system.

WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM IT?
If you have permanent make-up that was poorly done or that you’ve since regretted laser is the best option. Whether the brows aren't your prefered shape, are over saturated in pigment or have faded to an undesirable shade laser can work to lighten and remove the pigment. Laser is a great option if you're wanting to make a change to brows - if you are wanting them to be a lighter colour or a different shape.
Laser is very effective at removing and lightening traditional tattoos, multiple sessions will be required.

THE TREATMENT PROCESS
All treatments start with a thorough consultation and patch test. Although discomfort can be felt it is an extremely quick treatment to have.
HOW MANY SESSIONS YOU WILL NEED:
The number of laser tattoo removal sessions needed can vary widely depending on several factors, including:
-
Tattoo size: larger tattoos typically require more sessions than smaller ones.
-
Ink color: different colors of ink respond differently to lasers. Black ink usually requires fewer sessions because it absorbs all wavelengths of light, while colorful inks can take longer to remove.
-
Ink depth: tattoos that are applied deeper in the skin often require more treatments compared to those that are more superficial.
-
Age of the tattoo: older tattoos may fade faster because the ink has already begun to break down over time.
-
Skin type: individual skin characteristics, such as pigmentation and healing ability, can affect the total number of sessions needed.
On average, most tattoos might require anywhere from 5 to 10 sessions for complete removal, but some could require as few as 1-3 sessions or as many as 15 or more.

LI-FT PIGMENT REMOVAL

WHAT IS LI-FT?
Li-FT® Saline Tattoo Lightening Solution is tattooed into the area of the unwanted permanent makeup, microblading or body tattoo procedure by using conventional tattoo methods. When Li-FT® is soaked into the skin, the natural effect of Osmosis begins to take place. Li-FT® is a hypertonic solution, therefore it contains a higher amount of salt than the body contains…this enacts the process of Osmosis which starts to move the pigment upward to the outer surface of the skin…then removed by the skins natural healing process.

In addition to the natural power of salt and the Osmosis process, we strategically selected both lemon seed and orange seed extract for their powerful fading and exfoliation properties. With all this natural power, Li-FT® remains gentle to the skin and to ensure good healing and the integrity of the skin we added Aloe Barbadensis and Calendula Extract.

Li-FT® is a great option if you're wanting to make a change to brows - if you are wanting them to be a lighter colour or a different shape.

THE TREATMENT PROCESS
Before beginning the treatment a thorough consultation will be done and numbing cream applied. Then the Li-FT® solution is tattooed into the area of unwanted pigment. During the treatment, slight discomfort can be felt. Once the treatment is complete redness, swelling and bruising can be common. The brows will then begin to heal - the brows will form a crust and scab over, this will last 7-10 days while they are healing. It is important to leave the brows alone to ensure best healed results.
TREATMENT PLAN
Clients should expect three to four procedures before they see some results. Clients must be realistic in their expectations, they should expect a lightening of the tattoo, not full removal. Many times it is only necessary to remove a small part of the color to give new eyebrows. This is why a consultation is necessary to determine what level of removal or lightening is best. The brows take a full 8 weeks to heal meaning sessions should be at least 8 weeks apart. This can make the treatment process quite lengthy, especially if a few sessions are needed.

EMERGENCY REMOVAL
If you have undergone a permanent makeup procedure within the last 48 hours and you are unhappy with the results, you can opt for emergency removal. It is a gentle removal technique that works by soaking the freshly tattooed brows in Li-FT® solution. This will work with your body to try to reduce the amount of pigment that heals in the skin. This method can be extremely effective, especially if it's done as soon as possible. Once healed we will analyse the brows and create a treatment plan.
If it has passed 48 hours since the permanent makeup procedure, unfortunately it will need to be fully healed for 6 weeks before we can perform a Li-FT® removal treatment on them

LI-FT® VS LASER
Both techniques are fantastic options and there are pros and cons of both.
Li-FT® solution relies on your body’s natural healing mechanism to gently lift the pigment up and out to the surface of your skin. Li-FT® is not colour selective, meaning it can lift and lighten any pigment colour. In comparison to laser, Li-FT® treatments take longer per session as well as sometimes needing more sessions. Li-FT® can often cause the pigment to appear DARKER before lightening, this is due to the pigment being drawn up and out of the skin.
Laser tattoo removal involves the application of bursts of heat to break up large pigment particles which are then absorbed from within your body. Laser sessions are often very quick and can lighten the pigment in a just a few sessions. Certain pigments used in cosmetic tattoos don’t respond well to laser treatment. The ingredients in these pigments can be very different from those used in conventional ink, and laser treatment could change the color of some rather than lightening them. Laser is of course well known for being a method of hair removal so may also cause hair loss in the area lasered.
